Ypsilanti National Little League does fundraising to run our league year-round. Even after our final team has left the field, the Board of Directors and parents continue to look for ways to fund future seasons and improve and maintain our fields, clubhouses, and concession stand. A lot of work goes into running the league, both on and off the fields!
A lot of people do not understand what it takes to run a non-profit little league. Believe us, the money goes to very important things.
Board members do not get paid to do what they do, we do it because we love it and it is for the kids. We have fundraisers all the time to try to raise money, but it still barely seems to cut it. We, as YNLL board members, want this little league and the 2024 baseball season (and beyond) to be a success.
Items that we are required to pay for (and if we didn't do fundraising, we couldn't manage all of this):
- Field maintenance (mowing, weed-whacking the grass and gasoline for those items, paint and chalk for the lines)
- Concession stand materials (food, toilet paper, electricity, etc.)
- DTE bill for the games under the lights and all the field houses
- Umpires for Coach Pitch games and up
- Printing and copying costs for registration materials, flyers, etc.
Registration fees cover: Hat, shirt, insurance and charter fees for little league. YNLL is the cheapest baseball program around this area.
We do not play poker, we just exchange chips for cash and record in the computer. It is a great time to hang out with some great people and you never know you will run into.
This is also a chance for you to save off your 2024 registration fee.

Additional fundraisers will be announced soon.
